Unity is a great theory. I don’t foresee it taking a total hold in the paranormal field. Why not? Well let’s start with jealously, even though no one will admit it. Someone always has a better piece of equipment, got the investigation you wanted, or has more Facebook fans. Next is knowledge, some believe in only night time investigations or orbs. Another reason, is spin off groups, 90% of those groups that split off from another group harbor some sort of bad feeling against there former group. Now what do I believe, I believe in Paranormal networking, Friendships, and healthy debates. If we want to unite behind stopping Trespassing and other illegal acts that folks do on an investigation that’s great. But flying a blind flag of unity can be very detrimental; Even Andy Carter of Twisted Dixie, that group that drinks beer and makes money off investigations supports paranormal unity to a point. Do you want to be jointed at the hip with that? It’s bad enough we already get compared to his company. So let’s make friendships, and help the positives groups raise to the top of the pack. So tell me I am wrong, you can possibly change my mind. These are my thoughts today.
